Hello! I have been working and enjoying children for as long as I can remember. Their passion for life, energy and desire to communicate astounds me. When I myself became a mother, I understood how vital functional communication is for daily routines, interactions, and relationships. I am committed to helping young children acquire these skills and provide families with support along the way.
I received my Bachelors in Communication Disorders & Sciences at the University of Oregon and my Masters in Speech-Language Pathology at University of Minnesota. Over my career, I have had opportunities to advance my skills by working in an autism clinic, developmental preschools, home-based early intervention programs, outpatient hospitals, private practice and elementary school settings. From these experiences, I have gained clinical expertise and have enjoyed working with children and families from diverse backgrounds to achieve their communication goals. When I am not working, I enjoy cooking, reading, hiking, fishing and spending time with my husband and 3 children. |
